Fly Tying Bench - FlyBuff

Comment on This Bench

Tying with a young child can be a challenge! Sharp hooks small materials and find themselves hidden away in dust gathering tubs in long forgotten places...unless... I utilized a small closet in my sons play room and kept my materials out of reach. Also another thing that I learned was how to work with tubes. Those early days my wife would find me with my son on a knee with a feather in hand and a pile of tubes on the table. Many of my materials are in plastic accordian folders and kept in a tackle bag under my desk. The small parts container is from the bargin building supply store. The moral of the story is always keep your eyes out for things that will work...and make the most of any space available. Oh yes and dont forget to start them young!
