Fly Tying Bench - ColonelMel

Comment on This Bench

My bench is in the extra bedroom, so I have pretty much the whole room. We even call it the fly tying room. My bench is an antique drafting table that is 3 foot deep and 5 feet wide. I also carve and paint crankbaits. You can see some drying in the background and hanging from the giant lure above the bench. Some sheet foam wrapped around a short piece of closet pole is a handy place to stick finished flies. On a foam sheet on the wall are flies from swaps. Some I keep to learn from, others because they are unique.
