Pink/yellow chartreuse or green chartreuse seems to be big this year. It is called "electric chicken". I use yellow or green maribou with pink kiptail up front. By the way, Fred, you got a PM

I just recieved some nice pheasant feathers from a friend. I ave heard that you can put them in the freezer for a week or two to kill the lil bugs that might do harm to them. Will this work, and is it the best way?

A millimeter to short, not enough legs, that eye isnt the same as this one, etc. :wallbash: I just have to keep telling myself that nothing in nature is exactly the same. Makes me feel better. When I stack deer hair it seems the hair is holding onto itself and won't get even at the tips no matter how hard I "tap". Whats the deal?

My yellow lab regularly contributes to my tying addiction and they look good if I do say so myself. Wish the camera wasnt on the brink so I could show off. I also have a miniature pincher I have had my eye on , but she has some really short hair. Yup, I have officially lost it :bugeyes:

Well I finally got what I was after tying this "crustacean". For lack of a better name, I will call it Cotton's Disco Shrimp. Now back to my desk to squint some more :wallbash:

Well hope I don't disappoint. Just been tying for a year off and on. However since this topic has started, I have been devoting alot of time coming up with a grass shrimp. Almost got it down, but if all else fails, I have something else to fall back on.
