  1. Not yet, I'll let you know when they make it
  2. No flies as yet, this will probably be the first swap that didn't make it across to OZ for me If you posted them around the 5th last month, I don't think they'll be turning up. Flies in the past have taken 1.5-2weeks max, I'll keep my fingers crossed. It was a fun swap to be part of.
  3. Killer fly and killer tye Frank, keep em coming mate
  4. Glad you added it to the database Frank, beautiful tie as always my friend
  5. I'll say it's a doozy my friend! Good to see you back in this neck of the woods, your gorgeous drys have been missed. I love the slightly tapered palmered body hackle. Thanks for posting this one, care to share the trick?
  6. Awesome tie Terje! I love the colour transition in the abdomen, very sexy fly
  7. Cool looking nymphs Jindra! Nice set of soldiers, ready for deployment :gunsmilie:
  8. I like this one a lot Terje  I got myself some 'Body Quill tread' recently, very cool stuff. Do you build the taper with the body Quill thread or do you create a tapered underbody first?
  9. Wrong shade of green to go with the SP Who knows I might get to witness the action :yahoo:
  10. Hi All, I just got a PM from Dustin that my flies finally made the swim to the US. I'm sorry to have kept everyone waiting, normally my flies are a few weeks early. I couldn't get these away any earlier and have been a few days late in my last two swaps. Sorry, I hope you like them. Karsten
  11. Looking good mate  Superb fly and photography, I bet your happy with the new camera
  12. Very cool tutorial my friend. I love the addition of the hackle legs, very buggy
  13. I'm not sure that conjures up a great image Terje, you do realize where these feathers are located on the duck?
  14. Beautifully tied fly as always Terje. I don't know about the 'trying' aspect of your comment, everything you do is unique and creative in my books. You're a fly tying Guru buddy! Oh and lets not forget your honorary title of 'Granny Weave Master'. Karsten
  15. Thanks for the Pattern description Mike. I've already put photo's/pattern descriptions up for my ties. It would be great if the rest of you wouldn't mind following Mike/crackleback's lead and adding pattern descriptions for your ties to this thread. I'll take photo's when I receive my swap flies and put them up with their descriptions for anyone that's interested? Just an idea? Karsten
  16. Great looking tie and great photo, thanks for sharing
  17. Great looking fly Bogi, that's some awesome tying. Thanks for sharing and for the additional photos  I love the red peacock quill body, very sexy!
  18. Hey Bob, Thanks for sharing this pattern and for the additional instructions. I've got a few questions I hope you can help me with? When you tie the wing in three parts divided by dubbing, do you space the tie in points evenly? Your instructions say to tie the first clump so the tips extending slightly past hook bend. Do you tie each consecutive clump slightly longer so the tips line up with the tips of the first clump, or do you slightly stagger them? I hope my questions make sense, I'll be adding some of these to the fly box for sure Thanks buddy
  19. Sweet looking tie buddy, I love it You had me worried when I saw your size twenty midge pattern. This is more like it
  20. Gorgeous ties Carl, simply perfect
  21. Thanks Ray, I forgot how much fun it is to tie soft hackles. I finally used the golden plover skin I purchased a while back, it's a gorgeous material. Can't wait to try them on the water.
  22. Nice ties Terje, interesting body material?
