When your new to fly fishing if you see some one slaying them, be sure to ask them what they are using. Be polite and give them their space if you can ask them when they have finished or are changing location that would be idea. You might be surprised how much info including flies they might give up. Find the nearest fly shop they should have suggestions. good luck ps if they are rainbow it's hard to beat a # 16 glow ball still fished under a indicator although it's a bit like bait fishing. Micro jigs anyone?

Yes the are bicycle tubes. Mine happen to be supper lite race tubes, which makes them a little bit thiner. I am sure you can get a life time supply down out the local bike shop. There should be no need to buy a new tube, the shop should have a ton of dead ones. My tube is only shighty thicker than nymph skin.

I think I have a lifetime supply, now the real question is will it fish.

I was wondering if anyone had ever tried to make thier own hooks or has information about making hooks.

I put together a box for KP. I will get it in the mail asp. I also got chris' flies so I put a box to send to him it looks like the way the mail flows to the uk he might get them in time for spring. dfield

My fly is 22# 200R striped peacock. dfield When I look over the posts it looks like you got full sets of flies the reason you got some doubles is there where extras. There where two no shows in the swap and two tiers that didn't toe tag. I did miss kamloops flies so you won't have a fly from him. I will get him a set ASP. I hope this hasn't been to confussing. dfield

I have been away for a while hiking the OT. I have one box that was left on the kitchen table Bruce's. I just need to pick up some packing tape to seal the box and it's on it's way. dfield

OK Let me see if I can clear this up a bit. First Dam I over looked Kamloops flies and they are sweet ones. I have enough flies to get Kamloops a set. RoyChristie's is from the UK and his flies are still the mail. rockworm's flies are not toe taged, they look like a #18 hair's ear dry. Faster fish Steve P where no shows and I think brownsnathcher's flies where not toe taged. I am thinking a lot of us are in the same swaps when I get i chance I will try to slip in Kamloops midges to you.

This swap is in the hands of the US postal service. There a lot of sweet fish catchen ties headed your way. We had a lot of extras so I just spread the love until I ran out. Tyers that are new to swaping remeber you need to enclude a return mailer with postage. It makes it so much easyer on your host if they don't have to repack, lable or tape up anything to get your flies back. If you forgot postage this time n/p I went ahead and covered it and in a few case used a new mailer. I would like to thank everyone for being a part of this swap and sharing those killer paterns. dfield

I will go back through all the flies I have recieved I don't think I have received roy's yet. We can wait a few days for the last of them to come in.

It looks like I have received all the ties that I am going to get. I have tried to keep a running update on the first page but I do have a couple of boxes that I can't identify the tier. I will kitchen table the swap this afternoon and get the ties in the mail. There are some real fish catchers in there. Thx for joining
