  1. Great spey!!! I love the sleek, clean look of your flies. The JC is a very cool touch.
  2. Even though I love speys and dees, I have to admit my favorite pattern is a Popham or Green Highlander Least Favorite; Tippetiwitchet
  3. Sorry I planted that idea in your head! :hyst: :hyst: :hyst: :hyst: :hyst:
  4. You can also by raid "smoke' style permethrin bug bombs which penetrate well into cracks and don't leave any residue to speak of. They involve dropping a little canister into a small container of water to set off the chemicall reaction. I've used them a couple times a year for taxidermy and fly tying....they work very well. They come in a blue box and run about $12 us. We remove pets and plants and (people) for three hours, then open the windows and air things out quickly after that.
  5. Great dee! Nice sleek appearance and wonderful proportins! Looking forward to seeing more.
  6. Great spey! The wing looks just right, and you left a few hackle fibers at the back. Sweet!!!
  7. Dave, I haven't known you for very long, but your creativity and skills have been truly inspirational in that short time. It takes a lot to face ones demons, and I wish you the strength and conviction to succeed. Sincerely, Dave
  8. I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but if you search under "galaxy" you will find a post by McIntyre. He gives a step by step on Pompadour (Fernandez)style wings.
  9. Nice to see Knox represented so early in the year. Good looking Fly!
  10. Great Pregame fly!!!!! Go Dawgs!!! Woof! Woof! Woof! :headbang: :headbang:
  11. Jamie, thanks for the suggestion on the wings. I need to reread that section of Kelson. It's been a long time....and I probably didn't relate well to the description the first time . Happy New Year!!!
  12. Mike, it's good to see you here. Hope your holiday season has been a good one.
  13. I like the sleek overall appearance of the fly. I'm looking forward to seeing more.
