Yes, make sure that the hair is clean and that you clean any underfur. The amount of hair can make a difference as well, try to only stack the hair that is needed for the fly. Garren

There is the bit*h creek nymph which has a woven body and I believe it has been around for a long time. This fly utilizes a overhand weave where you never let go of the materials. This differs from the granny knot weave or the crotchet weave. You can substitute a woven body on a lot of nymphs to get a different look. Garren
