  1. I think the only way i will be ready is if sombody would steal my razor blades, i just keep tying then cuting it off, they tying it again. It wouldn't be so bad, but what i just cut off was better than what i just tied.
  2. ok , im in. Is this pattern to target any particular fish, or just anything as long as the body is made by weaving? Im thinkin of improvising a friends subsurface steelhead patten if thats ok.
  3. In the trout catagory, you have dry and wet, where do emerger patterns go, or is that up to the tier? In the steelhead catagory, what determins if it belongs in the steelhead or great lakes catagory?

    at last count i had 25 bobbins. it seems like they breed there on the table but , i do perfer the ceramic bobbins.

I had to go to three postoffices in the pittsburgh area before the clueless clerk behind the counter knew what i was talking about, and i was at the third one about 1/2 hr before they could hunt them up. I thought i was talking a forign language to them , then i realized i didn t know any forign languages.

  10. cdc bwo emerger ( pg 234 Tying Emergers by J.Schollmeyer & Ted Leeson) Hook lite wire scud Thread olive 8/0 Tail woodduck flank rib none(pattenb book calls for lt copper wire) Abdomen blue wing olive legs woodduck flank (i subsituted mallard flank dyed wooduck) Head brown olive by subsituting diffrent colors and tailing and leg materials you can match a variety of mayfly hatches. ive used it for march brown, sulpher,light cahil and its even fooled em during a heavy caddis hatch for me.

  14. in just flytying supplies 5000 easy, if you count all the flyrods boxes vests,and assorted dangley things hanging from the vest, i could have bought a small island in the carabiean
  15. im in. this is gonna be my first swap. How many, how soon do they need to be done,and who do i send them to?
  16. i tied my frist fly as a teenager, got away from it for a time but for the last 15 yrs just enough to keep the fly boxes full
