I spent the day in the hosipital finding out that I fractured my hand,six days ago.No wonder why it is still sore.I did tie a Stonefly nymph this morning.I saw a few people in the hosipitial that were in car accidents and so on,and feel lucky.Sometimes people just dont know how lucky the realy are.

I had a mustad hook break at the bend in a Brown Trouts mouth.I raised four our five more fish that day before I relized what had happened.It ticked me off.I still have that busted fly.I have had hooks break in the vice,and other flies that have had the same problem,(Mustad).I still use them because I cant throw them away.I tied up the same fly that I broke in that browns mouthon a TMC hooked and landed that fish.It was 23 inches long and 14 inches at its girth.I have never looked back.

Every year my buddie and I run a snare line.We eat the rabbits,and I use the skins(fur),and feet for flies.I will have some that will be dry,and clean here soon,January.Any one interested.They will be in there natural winter colours.I will trade for anything cool or send them for the price of shipping.

I used to work in a fish plant we smoked all of our fish.I told my buddy about how well the fish tasted.He decided he was going to build a small smoke house,I dont think he was smoking fish or game though.

We have two dogs,they are very good pets and watch dogs.They are a lab sheppard mix.The will hunt or fish anything,seriously.Have you ever considered a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Dog.They are a smaller breed of dog very well tempered have webbed feet and verry easy to train.I heard that a Nova Scotia dog won a compatition in the U.S. this year.I also had too of them at one time.The female was the best dog I have ever owned.

Why not sell them,and use the money to make a fly pattern book.or even a magazine.All the members could be involved and the profits could be donated to a good cause such as cancer research,or the protection and conservation of the sport we all love.

The only weapons I can own are Worm digging forks,like a clam hack,and my fishing rods

Im sory too. I am new to all of this,computers and all.I live in a small town called Kentville, on one side is New minas on the other is Coldbrook.The other day a buddy asked me,you work on the flats how come it is allways windy in Kentville?I said its because New Minas blows and Coldbrook sucks!

Did I not read in one of the fly fishing magazines about snow trout.Cant rember which one but I cant wait to do some Ice fishing this year.More and more waters are being opened.I also live very close to a tidal river that is full of Brown Trout,that can be fished any time of day or night.No sport fish can be kept after the season is closed.

The only way I have been able to quit smoking was to stay in my room and tie flies.Then I had to show them to someone and have a smoke.The only real way to quit smoking here in Nova Scotia is to go to Jail.

Nice looking flies,have you ever tried using foam for a wingcase?this will help the fly suspend upright.
