The classified caddis pupa

Renzetti Master.. Sick vise, one of the nicest I ever tied on to be honest. I have the standard right now with all the bells and whistles, tube chuck etc. If you tie tubes, there is none better in my opinion. -
Got mine yesterday. Great flies everyone, thank you!

Adult. I could only find one of them. where they adults, still in the shuck or was it in a pupah state? this is important! Let me know what stage you have htere and I will give you a educated guess as to the actuall hatch

FTF I confess, I'd never seen an October Caddis until after I'd sent mine off. But last weekend I was fishing Deer Creek near my home and happened to look down and see one. I gave it a thorough exam creekside. I wish I'd done that before I tied up. You're right about the size. The color was the coolest part. Kind of a creamy orangey thing. I'll tie a better one next time. I should start bringing a camera.

Got my box-o-flys today plus bonus goodies from the swapmaster. Great looking flys. Can't wait to try them out. Thanks for the work Ridley. I'm really impressed with all the tiers in this swap. Great job everyone!

Now that is useful advise. I find myself tying one or two flies of a new pattern and then trying to load my fly box with them. They usually look shabby and sometime later I'll look at em and discard them. I'll bet that if I followed your advise, knowing that I'm just tying the first 18 for drill, I'd probably be more satisfied once I start tying them for my fly box.

My flies are away.
