Hi all, I was browsing the forums, and then I noticed in the bottom left of each page there are some stats. COuld anyone explain to me what; The numbers mean? The little monitor means? What the queries are? What GZIP is? Thanks for your time, I'm really just a mix of bored and curious.

Here are my boxes, taken a few months ago. First one is my dries, second third fourth fifth and sixth are wets. I can't remember if I have any nyphms/buzzers lol. Oh and sorry about the blurry pictures.

Very nice, I always enjoy looking at a well-tied pike fly! :headbang:

Great fly, certainly feels very traditional and indeed very 'fishy'!

Hi there buggeruser! Just a quick question, before you left fishing, did you tie flies? If not, I suggest you buy one of the many beginners kits around which may or may not contain the right materials for a bugger. Never mind though, it's better to work on simpler flies before you try something like a bugger. Once you have grasped the basics, you should be able to look at a fly, and be able to undrestand how to tie it without any instructions or a material list (to some extent). On the other hand, if you have tied flies before; Hook; lonshank (any size you want) Thread: any colour really Tail: marabou (any colour) Body: chenille (any colour) Hackle: palmered hackle (again any colour) Head/eyes: optional, but either a conehead or dumbell eyes. Good luck with your tying - let us know how you get on! Classic Tier

Great fly, although you might want to think of another name - here's the first Junk Yard Dog. http://www.classicflytying.com/index.php?s...l=Junk+Yard+Dog Superb tying all the same! :headbang:

I bet if you breathed whilst tying one of those onto your leader, you'd breath it in without knowing. Great fly! :headbang:

Very nice! May I ask what the dubbing is?
