  1. Hey folks thank you for the information can't wait to try it. Will have to wait until it stops snowing.
  2. Since the winter of 1979 if I remember right. Mostly trout flies and salmon patterns.
  3. I know a River that would like this fly about midnight.
  4. Hi Folks, I'm working on a project and would like to try dying some white marabou with lichen or moss any one have any ideas. I read on line if you boil the lichen for twenty minutes and them put the material in you should be all set. Thanks, RedFox
  5. Oh no I know some trout that will love that. Great job.........
  6. If you want send a small piece to me . Might be able to help you out.
  7. What a sharp looking bunch of flies. Good Job and happy fishing. Might have to tie a few my self. Always looking for ideas.
  8. Ok I do now have a bunch ahead and they are all dried. We do sell them for $12.00 each. But I think I have to clear it with the webmaster first. Plus shipping charges.
  9. Well isn't that something. I checked the web site yesterday before I suggested. He had a pattern on the lower right hand corner. Its gone now. Sorry about that. I have been swaying with the idea to subscribe. Just got a new 22 inch flat screen. Sorry about that.
  10. yeah but, He does have a couple videos you can watch for free.
  11. I have been tying commercailly for many years and and have been using the Danvise for 10 years at least. I haven't had any trouble with it. I love it. I've sold a couple hundred at least. Have had a couple folks mess up the jaws but they have been warranty by Al Beatty. I have two that I use all the time. I just wish that I had started out early with this vise. There is a web site that shows tying with the Danvise. Check it out good information. visit rotaryflytying.com
  12. Yes it is ok to sell partridge skins. They changed the laws on selling Duck Skins in the last year or so. Used to sell alot of Wood Ducks and Hooded Mergangers. But can't sell a duck with the feather attached to the skin now. What a pain. I tie a small caddis fly using the tail feathers from a partridge and have some times used the eyes from the back for eyes on tandems.
  13. Hmmm! Glow in the dark Nail polish. I Know where I'm stopping on my way to work.
  14. I live in Maine and love to hunt Partridge. Always looking for a good pattern to tie using their feathers. We have Red, Browns, and gray phase birds. Any ideas?
  15. Flies hit Maine today. Thanks alot for some really nice additions to the fly box. Great job by all.
