  1. Hi people. Thought I'd come in and post some flies I've been tyeing and fishing. I've been spending alot of time in front of. And quite a bit of time on the river also. go easy on me I tye mostly for fishing and not pictures. Started trying with foam and trying to make some flies for the frist time, never have used foam before. Here a black PH-tail I use alot of. and a few others I've been messing around with. Good tyeing people and even better luck when you go fishing.
  2. All your caddis drys work well. Hoppers crickets in the mornings and late evening, Stimulators are a always go to fly for me you can fish it till late fall. Where ever your fishing get in and turn some rocks over and look on the bottom of them. Grab some clups of moss also and give it a look. I do this all the time to see whats in the river. If the caddis is out just give a couple bushes next to the bank a good yank. And watch what come out. They get up in them during the heat of the day. This stimulator I'll fish for the next 5months. god luck and let us know if we can help you out anymore.
  3. Here's a couple of shots of the black-PHtails I've been useing for the BWO nymph. Good luck.

  9. Sorry guys I had to change mine. I ran out of hackle for the march brown. So I went with a #16 soft hackle burlap. I'll try and get them in the mail today.
  10. I got mine done. And I'll get them in the mail the first of next week. Where have I heard that before? Oh that's what I tell all the bill collectors when they call. :crying:
  11. Pelhament Thats a good looking pattern. I'm sure the fish will smash it.
  12. I've been fishing all winter long. And there has been times it's sure been hard. Had a few days I never got a bite. With the cold they where held up in the holes. And you almost had to put the fly right in their face. But the good new's is they have stared to move and look for other holes. I'd think here in the next few weeks. They should be hitting almost anything you'll throw at them. I had a good day after catching some fish. I got to take a short ride on my motorcycle. Good weather is on it's way! :headbang:
  13. I like humpys here's one I tyed up today called a colorado captain. I also like trudes and royal wulffs. I use alot of trudes for the Dry dropper when fishing.
