What about when tying smaller tube flies..? Is looking for something to help me make a little and lively hackle on the front ..

Hey people. I'm interested in hearing about some good tips for feathers to use as front hackle on tube flies.. I'm tying flies for salmon and steelhead, and looking for a soft front hackle on them to get them as lively as possible.. I have used schlappen feather and saddle feathers for now. And started a little with spey plumes especially when using an turbo disc at front to get them moving even more.. But what are you using ?? Hopes for some good tips ..
