About Me
My name is Tom and I have lived in Missoula, MT for the last 30 some years. I started tying fly's when I was in 6th grade and started tying for a local shop here in town. As a kid I loved to fish Rock Creek as well as Lolo Creek, where I lived. I really never fished the Clark Fork or Bitterroot I guess because they were "so big". After tying so many flies I was burned out and decided I didn't like flytying or fly fishing anymore. I have had a 20 year hiaitus from serious flytying. Only occassional flyfishing like a yearly trip to Duck Lake north of Browning, MT.
Who wouldn't want to catch 5-10lb rainbows on a fly rod?
For some reason this winter I got the bug to tie again as well as fish with a flyrod. I live in some of the best fly fishing in the US. I am gonna hit it hard this year.
