I am a metalsmith in the Bay Area, I found a book in the library on fly tying while looking for something else and became facinated, I bought the skykomish fly tying kit shortly after and started tying. Shortly after, I recieved a bunch of supplies from a freind of mine. His uncle who tied flies, had died and all of his tools were stacked in a garage, so he gave them to me. This of couse led me to fly fishing. I now have a rod and reel as well. Soon I will actually go fishing, since I keep tying these flys.
