Hello, I am not so new to the site anymore, however have been away it seems like a lifetime. I remain familiar because of my husband(Bigdaddyhub) which is very familiar with the site and has been for years. I have been flyfishing and tying now for a little over 7yrs thanks to my wonderful hubby that introduced it to me. I fished as a kid and enjoyed it and tried to teach my son when he was younger, however when I met my husband things just fell together. Now we have taught our daughter to fish and canoe with us and this year Bigdaddyhub is going to start teaching her to flyfish...she got her 1st flyrod for Christmas. We have also started the little one with his kiddie rod this past summer.

We enjoy fishing, canoeing, float tubing, camping, and being outdoors as much as possible as a family and we have now added hunting to the mix and loving it. The kids love it as much as we do. My daughter (8yrs) has been fishing since she was 1 and a half and went on here first campout when she was 10months with my son's cub scout group. My son(14yrs) now flyfishes with us and is now in boyscouts with his arrow of light award and is finishing his Star project. I have been involved with his scouts as assistant leader and leader from tigers to webelos and now on the committee with his boyscout troop. Our little one is now 2yrs and is very active and really likes dragons, dinosaurs, and fishies as he calles them.
