I have been fly fishing since I was 12, well make that since 1977. I just started tying about 6 months ago. I use a lot of poppers for bream, bluegill an bass. I am currently perfecting the flop popper. I use bullet casings to cut popper bodies from dollar store flip flops. since they are nothing but thick foam, it works good.

These hard times are not only for the fly shop, I look else where to save money. I don't want anybody to go out of business but tying flies is a want not a need.

Hello folks, I would like to introduce myself. I have been born and raised in the the state of Georgia. I have been fly fishing since I was 12 (mid '70s) But I decided to start tying my own flies. I target bass and bream mostly where I live at so I will be doing a lot of poppers for bream and a mixed bag for the bass.
