Hello everyone! I've been visiting this site from time to time for over a year now and figured I'd finally get registered and attempt to contribute a bit. I've been tying flies and jigs for about a year now and really enjoy it. I live in N.E. Ohio, towards the western end of 'Steelhead Alley', so I spend most of the year on the Lake Erie tribs chasing steel. During the warmer months when the steel have left I still fish the tribs for smallmouth, carp, and catfish. I've never actually fished with a fly rod, but instead use a centerpin reel on a float rod. I love seeing all of your original or modified patterns, and I look forward to sharing some of my own creations. Until then, take care. John
