They should work just fine........If you think the stems are too thin and may not take a lot of abuse, you can always wind a piece of thin copper wire thru the hackle to help hold it together..... Mike

Nice job w/the vids fishigan! I especially enjoyed the panfish vid....... Will, I don't know what to say.......FTF has come a loooonnnng way in a very short time......I figured you would take a well deserved break after the release of "Hatches" this Fall.......congratulations on another job well done with "Hatches Video"! :dunno: I don't know what I'm doing wrong.......I went to TFF and tried to log in.....nothing......tried password recovery and it kicked me to a screen wanting me to register......which I can't do because of course my username is already taken......I think in my original post I said that I did the password re-set......that ws incorrect, what I did was the password recovery which of course had me change my password. I hope that makes sense. Mike

my e-mail hasn't changed, I did the password recovery on FTF because I couldn't get in.....I thought that it automatically reset for all 3 sites. I will try to change it on the other 2....thanx! Mike

Hey Will, I can't get logged into the sister sites.....A couple days ago, I couldn't get logged into FTF either....I did the password reset and can now access FTF, but not the other two sites......I tried doing the password reset on TFF and it kicked me back to FTF..... :dunno: I do access the sites from 2 different computers, would that be causing the problem? Until you have that first good hard frost, you have to be real concerned w/bugs.......Ditto what Ashby said as far as salt or borax on the tail to dry it out......I freeze my fur/feathers twice to kill all the bugs.....put it in freezer for a couple days.....take it out for a day or 2 and then back in for a couple more days....that should kill all the little critters. I generally always carry a couple of "Mickey Finn" bucktails w/me and have had success w/them in water w/carp/goldfish present.

My daughter was at the fly shop w/me a couple of years ago and helped me pick out materials.....I wound up w/a bunch of purples, pinks, etc.....long story short, I wound up tying some purple buggers and did quite well w/them in stained water, both lake and stream fishing. Mike

Go to the species index just below the banne on this page and click on the panfish.......In the past couple of days, there were a couple of nice damsel/dragon nymph patterns posted and i added them to the panfish database. Mike
