  11. Good Evening Everyone! I was wondering if somebody could help me find some good sites packed with information on the Salmon River, NY. My dad has been planning a trip with some friends, and has entrusted me to find some information for him. Other than the DSR and SalmonCrazy website, what are some good sites? Again, all the thanks to ya! All help would be much obliged.

  13. Thanks vern-o. Are you from the salmon Pulaski/ Altmar area? If you are, just fill me in on how the season has been going. If not, it's okay. Any specific colors projected to be good this year? New patterns? My dad doesn't tie flies, so he has entrusted me with that aspect of the trip. Haha. Thanks again!

  15. Oh! no! this isn't my fly. I just was ranting on about how peacock works good in other flies I tie. But. thats the last thing I want to do is to steal a show.

  19. Looks good! Do you use peacock in most of your wet flies?
  20. I like it! :thumbsup: Have you ever tied a pattern called a cactus minnow? They work pretty good for big gills and smallies. I've actually caught a walleye or two along the lines somewhere. It's a great multi-use pattern. again. nice tie!
