  1. Then I'm wondering if your tying lamp is pretty bright and the camera you are taking the pictures with, is a pretty decent DSLR!?!?

Like I said before, or eluded too before - ( I think) , nice ties and pics.

    BCT

    THx for your kind words.

It is a DSLR, but not a really fancy one. Just using a good 60mm macro lens. The exposure time is quite long and all settings are manually made.

The light is not very bright. I just learned by try and error how to do the settings right. If you got a proper light set up, you will get good results very quickly.

  2. Hi,

I´ve tied a pattern close to the bugger. Maybe you could call it a bugger.

My goal was to solve the problem with long fox, which wind around the hook bend while casting.

Especially, when you try to cast quite far against heavy wind, like we do when we fish for seatrout in the baltic sea.

    I named it Wiggle-Fox.

The technique is well known when tying nymphs, like mayfly nymphs, but I don´t know a pattern which was tied like this for seatrout.

    Materials:

    Gamakatsu F314 # 6

    a hook shank

mono for ripping (I use fluorocarbon)

    mono for the connection

    marble fox

SLF dubbing mixed with SLF Prism

    crystal flash

    Keough grizzly saltwater cape

    tungsten bead
