Its the right name. Same as on the package. They basically look like a small lenghth of round plastic (Kinda like fishing line) with two beads on it. The ends of the plastic are rounded to keep the beads from coming off. Same thing as a mono eye only these have glass beads on them. Here is a fly that I tied using them. You cant see the plastic because of the thread. Its just a straight peice of plastic.

I cant find any on the net. The batch I have I got as part of a grab bag from Orvis but couldnt find them on there either. Any suggestions? I tried Stockard too but blanked out. Thanks in advance!

Im from Norther Indiana and fish for all species but absolutely love Salmon. I have only just started to tye and I must say I thought it was going to be easy but have quickley learned that it is in fact an art form.
