I have a granite base and a wooden base for my nor-vise. Granite does not move.

The man who was making the pamola lathe was older. Perhaps he retired. Maybe someone could start making these again. I am sure the design plans could be obtained if he is still alive. It was made before its time.

My microwave changes direction . It should not matter in the drying . Great suggestion on the blue insulation!

Why not tuffleye? They reformulated it so it will work with a uv or their blue light. They are all pretty similar.

Any good shops in punta gorda / port charlotte are?

It was pricey back then. I went with a norvise and it does what i need it to do.

I remember seeing this being demonstrated at the fly show in the early 2000s. Anyone familiar with them? Been watching one on the big auction site. Just curious About any thoughts.

I came across a package while going thru some long ago packed away stuff. 3/0. Other than bobs bangers what else are they good for?
-
Anyone have any patterns or suggestions as to how to use this stuff. Found 10 packages while emptying more boxes packed away for several years. Gold, silver, green and blue. I used them for joe brooks blondes. Any other patterns?

For that you need to find a company that specializes in eva foams. Ufp technologies in mass is one. But there are many others. Buy foam blocks and you can turn your own.

I think it depends on how good your eyes are to begin with. I have a giraffe magnifier. Not sure how strong it is. But i dont tie smaller than 14.

I have had my ottlite for more than 10 years. Would not tie without it.

Waste unit came in today.. This one is different than the others pictured. Tis one screws to the bottom of the desk. And slides out of the way. Not bad.

For some reason vz has better reception here in the boston area, i am most likely going with the thunderbolt, I am definitely hitting rei for one of those map holders.. Thanks for the advice.
After visiting vzwireless. I am going with the i phone. Easier interface simiar to the ipad

Were you able to recess the screw heads in the bottom or do they aid in the vacuums effectiveness if they stick out a bit? The norvise looks sharp mounted on a nice piece ofStone. Mind if i borrow your idea?
yes I recessed them just by grinding out with a larger bit to fit the head. Have at it. I've been really happy with the added weight
I picked up a nice piece of black granite today. What type and sizebit did you use to drill the holes? Any idea what size the screws are? Going to definitely need to get longer ones..

I dont need waterproof. But it was nice.

I have had my present phone going on 4 years, It is a casio gzone type v.. Water resistant and mil spec for shock and dust resistance.. My delimma is this,, its no longer water resistant thanks to me dropping it open from 20 ft up ona telephone pole. Thats what i get for answering my personal phone while working. Its cracked.. But still works..
Do i buy a referb off ebay for 50.. And feel ok about taking it fishing. Or do i splurge 150+$
for a smartphone with all the bells and whistles. I am on verizon, no intention of jumping ship at the moment... Any recommendations? Other than going with the refurb, i have been looking at the droid x, iphone 4, and the htc thunderbolt in 4g.. I just cant decide..

Still trying to figure out what problem this design solves? Other than the variable tension, which other bobbins have, what are the supposed advantages of this bobbin? The irregular shape would make this bobbin a bear to spin, which is a key reason why I would probably never buy one, but it certainly is a curious design.Curious. What is he charging for these? No info on the web site

Also is that a piece of stone that your norvise is mounted to?yes a scrap I picked up at a stone fabricator

Can someone explain to me what the advantage or disadvantage of using these. I see them advertised all over now. But honestly i dont have a clue about them.

I must say that none of these designs suck....that's too bad.Nice job with the vac setup. Also is that a piece of stone that your norvise is mounted to?

The tray in question doesn't actually slide. Its got two long U shaped brackets on each end that allow the tray to slide onto a countertop. Part of the fabric sits under the vise securing it in place, and then it has the basket that extends about 3" off your tying area allowing you to slide material from the tying area to the waste area. Here is a pic of mine:
And yes, mine was $2.88 also. Too good of a deal to pass up, but definitely not worth the full retail price.
What was full retail originally?
Most used hook?
