I tie size 18 (almost never.....ok never) to size 4/0 with the Omni Jaws and have not had any problem.

I started using the Stonfo a few months back. With out a doubt the most comfortable bobbin Ive ever used. Honestly I cant even hold a griffin any more.

Im not a fan of flies with stinger hooks for Bass. Bass in lakes strike the head of there prey thus I miss a lot of fish. River bass often take the fly to deep causing life threating injuries.

I'm going to add this rattle system to it as well. http://www.barlowstackle.com/Skirt-Collars...ories-C116.aspx To me I guess I say "why not" Jigs catch a lot of Bass. Why not have a fly rod cast-able version? the color combos are infinite!

I disagree. Ive tied over 20 thousand flies on my spartan. Ive had one cam lever replaced and one set of jaws refinished. Total out of pocket..... 8 dollars for shipping. My HMH (if I choose) will last me a life time If I replace it Ill get a Law....nuff said Laws last forever.
