I agree! I tried but when I say I was shipping stuff I ended back in the ICU. I didn't want to back peddle cause there was no need to cause it was what it was. Don't take my situration as typical. It was hard to email when I didn't have a computer to do so where I was at. But I do agree that if you have an issue you should message the swapmeister about it. I do feel really bad my life is the way it is, not for myself but for the swappers. but in the end it is only flies. At least everything I owe is out except one swap that is not due for 3 weeks but leaving tomorrow

A couple swaps I have been late on and it has been completly my fault. Well I have to assume it mine but I have had external issues. I have had some medical issues that have restricted me from shipping. Not from the vise but by getting them in time. All of me swaps have been shipped and until I can get me medical issues completed I have stopped involving myself in swaps till I know I can for sure make them happen. I have had 9 successful swaps where I have received flies but that is no excuse for me. I do appologize for delays but at this moment I need to concentrate on my health. Being 29 and in the hospital daily has put a strain on my life and I don't want that to be a strain on anyone else. Like I said all my swap flies and the 2 swaps I have started have all been shipped out.

I am having kidney problems and been in the hospital the last 2 days. Can you wait till monday to ship cause they are in the mail and would still like to be part of this. I can assure you they should be their but it is out of my hands now cause they are with USPS

I show I didn't send the hooks cause someone else on the forum was saying they were going to give some to you. The bobbins are in your flies which were mailed out on Friday with the swaps. Thanks guys

you know I am always down to test stuff. Since I suggested the saltwater hooks lol.. But you probally already had them in development

at least you are not negative about the company and that you wish him the best. I wouldn't go as far to call the P.O.S. since I have had a good experience with them and any issues I can fix internally as I would with any other manufacture. I do hope he can get the hooks where he wants them to be! Since you are a commercial tier we don't get the name brand hooks at much of a discount as you so I am happy with allen hooks.

bad experiences are going to happen, I know I might get some crap for this but I never will buy another chevy again!!!!! Granted most of their stuff is great but in 4 months I had to lemon law 2 trucks. Does that make me want to buy another noooo... But some of you will swear by them. Am I gonna saw they make P.O.S products? In my experience YES! Would I give them a chance to right the situration, you bet but no effort has been made. Granted this is on a very smaller scale but the concept is the same. I have had good experiences with Allen and will continue to order. In case I am not happy Justin will make good on in, I can't say the same for chevy!

I agree with you, I don't have a ton of money to spend on tying and I have gotten a ton of allen hooks. Have I got a couple bent and dull hooks yes. But I sharpen every fly I tie before it hits my box no matter the manufacture, so that never was the issue. If I got a bent hook I just bend it strait. For $6.95 a hundred I never really cared. I have had issues with other manufactures as well. My most recent was with a 100 tiemco 2457 hooks. I wanted to give allen the chance to fix his scud hooks before I ordered so I got a hundred on ebay for a decent price. When they came in I got 8 hooks that did not even have eyes. :wallbash: Just a flat piece where the eye should have been. For the price you are paying you can't expect them to all be perfect. Even if I had a couple out of a hundred that were not perfect for the price we pay it still was well worth it! Plus Justin always answers questions and offers full refunds if you are not happy. If you are looking for perfection make your own hooks cause no manufacture can offer that. Oh and NJ, I saw a guy here locally that had njalday on his license plate and it made me giggle and think of your username

I have fixed a situration like this before by priority shipping another set. Luckly I have made quite a few flies of the same and can reship if needed. Could I possibly resend some out to where you are going to be at so at least you know they came in? Thanks
