  1. I prefer to use hooks with a round (or close) bend for beadheads, a wide gap and a small barb or a barbless also helps like SH said. Partridge even make a special hook for this purpose, haven' t tried it myself but you can check it out at: http://www.partridge-of-redditch.co.uk/Hoo...rout/page17.htm.
  2. Greetings everyone! It's a bit funny it should take me this long to discover this forum but I'm glad I did, better late than never. When I don't post threads with crappy titles I tie flies and try to fish those, mainly in the central parts of Sweden. Coincidentally, that's also where I live. Grayling is the most common target but also the occasional brown trout and 'rainbow'. Seriously considering adding pike to that list too, much easier to find around here. I'm currently trying to get into realistic flytying and it's a good thing I don't own a digital camera. Some great talent around here indeed, very humbling . Tight lines (and threads).
  3. QUOTE (albert @ Jul 3 2005, 07:41 AM) HI... does any one know where i can buy 17/0 thread on the net, i cant find it? and does any one know if thread down under 17/0 exampel 20/0 exist? Albert http://www.mixfishing.se/ Also has most of the VN products and great service. Rekommenderas! No idea if there are any thinner threads out there, after trying the 17/0 I haven't felt any real need for it anyway. It's ridiculously thin. And fragile :/. Oh, and hello everyone, some great talent on this forum! Wish I was half as good as most of you guys . Back to the vise...
