  1. The Ikea light works well for me as the room is well lit but I want a little extra light right on the fly. The older I get the more light I need.
  2. It took me a while, but here's a photo of the best one yet. I really like the Charlie Craven method, it works well for me.
  3. I'm currently using one and it seems to work well so far (about 1 1/2 months). One thing is that the LED is not replaceable so if it goes out the light isn't useable, but for $10 it seems pretty good. I like that it's small and doesn't get it the way of my tying.
  4. Thanks for pointing out the view new content button, I'm pretty new to the site and didn't realize it was there. I guess I just over looked it.
  5. Has anyone here tried the open eye hooks like Gateway or anything similar? I'm curious how they are to use both tying and fishing? Thanks
  6. Thank you very much! That was very enlightening and just what I was looking for.
  7. I'm wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a good detailed video for tying parachutes? I haven't tied any in a long time and am looking for a good reference so that I don't get into any bad habits. Thanks in advance.
  8. Hello, I'm kind of an old newby here as I joined the forum a couple of years ago but didn't do anything with it. I haven't been tying or fishing much in that time but am looking to do more of both. Thanks, Dave
