  1. I have been granted a trip to Vienna to visit my sister. I would like to have some recommendations for some local destinations and pattern selections for the 1st week of April. I have no idea what to expect as far as weather there at that time of the year. Tailwaters would be great, if there are any. ANY and I do mean ANY advice would be great. though me a link even if you know of any. I will really only have a day to dedicate to being on the water so really close by will be better. She lives in Vienna proper as I understand if that helps in locating where I am gonna be. Thanks guys
  2. got a chance to play w/traveller and another at one of the locals shops. I think I like the traveller. What a step up from the starter kit! Thanks for the input. Hopefully I will start throwing some pics on here, after i start catching a few. Thanks for the input guys
  3. I started tying earlier this year with a cheapo-startup kit. I now find myself looking to get a better vise due to the wear and tear on the one that came with my beginners kit. I am really looking for a rotary-style for my replacement. I was hoping not to be spending a car payment on a new vise but I have not found enough info online to really steer me in any one direction. I do have a few local fly shops but none of them carry any vises other than the simple (and extremely adequate) post-style vise. I also would really like the new vise i get to have one of the nice heavy pedestal stands. Any info you all can point me to would really help.
