I think I will tie a spun deer hair mouse. Its good for pike, bass, trout and many other Im sure.

Okay Due date is April 18th guys. We need one more spot filled and we will be filled up. We will have 8 spots total, so tie 8 flys and send them on the way. Just remember to send a large enough box and package because I will be submitting a rather large fly. Not sure what it will be yet but I have a few ideas and they are all in the 6+ inch range.

We can set the due to mid April if that would be better. A couple weeks wont hurt my feelings any, and they would still be back before spring.

Raymond21 I love when new tyers want to participate. I was nowhere near perfect when I started and I am still not perfect. by getting in on swaps I was able to learn how to make multiple flys that look alike. Do you best and take your time and be proud of what you create is all I would like to see.

I have been wanting to start a swap for bigger toothy critters. Anything that would catch pike, muskie, or large bass. I saw that there was some over flow from the previous muskie swap so I figured now would be a good tome to set one up. No real material rules or stipulations other than where I fish bigger is better. Alright here is the low down on this swap. Since there wasn't the turn out that I had expected we are going to close the swap at six of us and swap two of each just like I did with the carp swap. I wish I would have been able to host this swap a lot sooner as I am about to leave for a week camping trip that will most definately include some huge bass. I would love to have these before I go on my trip.

I have a proposition. If we don't get any more swappers by say the 15th would you all be interested in swapping two of each so we don't have to return left overs. I am alright with that just want to get everyone elses two cents on the subject.

I will be worried about the return trip with the variety and all that water lol. I think it will be alright tho

Its the lighting. They are chartreuse for sure. I added some peacock black crystal ice on the top to add to the color realism. I just fished one of them last night and had a blast landing both small mouth and large and they don't take them easy either.

I just finished up my ties and I will post a pic as soon as I can figure out how to get them uploaded on here lol. I don't have my old method anymore. They average in the 4 inch range on a size 2/0 mustad true turn bronze hook.

Never!! I have a few flys that are in the 6/0 area. I'm not afraid to throw a whole pelt tied to a hook lol. Big bait means big fish, most of the time that is.

I am looking for your favorite bass streamers, whether they are baitfish, craw patterns, clousers, or any thing that is good sized and produces some good fish. The requirements being that the fly is tied on a size 8 or larger hook, the fly total in lenght is more than an inch long (bigger is always better in my mind for bass) and that they have a sub-surface presentation. I will be tying a rather large fly the Half and Half (half desiever and half clouser minnow) which I have had tremendous results with, so be sure to send a large enough box to house a fly around 3.5 to 5 inches long. cause thats what your gonna get LOL.
