I like a wild river, if I want to catch stockies I go to a fishery. The river test in Hampshire has been ruined in my opinion because people want big easy fish.

2 good tips for rabbit strip tails. 1 skin the section you are tying in & 2 always cut tail to length by cutting just the skin (you don't want to cut any fibres). hope this is helpful. -

I like siliconised or crimped polypropylene for posts & wings but foam floats better. -
Try a foam post klink, it can suspend quite heavy nymphs.
