  1. My first attempt of a married Dee tie, critiques are definitely welcomed.
  2. A really interesting tie and very well done I might add. Do you skate or dead drift the pattern, do you find the opening in the tube tends to pull the fly down ?
  3. Excellent photography, I would suggest you check out some of Davie Mcphail tying videos on U-Tube he is a brilliant tyer and his salmon fly videos really show how to create a smooth body, they really helped me.
  4. Yes I guess this is a variant of a Waller Waker, John Hazel uses a similar pattern in one of his videos. I have fished this fly and it is almost unsinkable and produces a nice wake.

  8. Hi Kate A very good first attempt if you don't mind some critique I think the tail should be shorter but A1 for your first attempts, keep them coming.

  10. Yes I added a bit of this and a bit of that I really don't remember what the ratios were. I know their was some red and yellow along with the brown.

Daiichi salmon hook size 3 tag purple tinsel tail G.P. crest dyed red Half body uni-floss neon 2x chinese red Half body purple seal Rib medium silver round tinsel hackle purple blue eared pheasant stripped one side front hackle red guinea First wing red G.P back feather tied tent style Second wing shorter red dyed hot ping G.P. back feather. Jungle cock eyes purple thread
