A really interesting tie and very well done I might add. Do you skate or dead drift the pattern, do you find the opening in the tube tends to pull the fly down ?

Excellent photography, I would suggest you check out some of Davie Mcphail tying videos on U-Tube he is a brilliant tyer and his salmon fly videos really show how to create a smooth body, they really helped me.

Yes I guess this is a variant of a Waller Waker, John Hazel uses a similar pattern in one of his videos. I have fished this fly and it is almost unsinkable and produces a nice wake.

Yes I added a bit of this and a bit of that I really don't remember what the ratios were. I know their was some red and yellow along with the brown.
