  1. Cool looking tool love the wing formation. Question, could you E-Mail me on the technique you use to obtain such a clear crisp photo, in detail please as I have used macro and a tripod and would like to obtain the clarity of your photos. regards

  12. I have been tying flies for 10 years or so but I have never found a reliable pair of hackle pliers. I was hoping the tyers out there could give me some good advice on a manufacturer they are happy with. I tie small drys and large spey's. Thanks, and a great new year to you all.
  13. I thought it might be intresting to discover which spey patterns are used successfully in the different Great Lakes if there is a uniqueness to the area in size/color. If there is a commonality for the different seasonal runs and water conditions.

  15. Just a quick bio I live near Toronto and have been flyfishing for 25 years, mainly for trout but have dabbled with bass. I recently have started Spey casting with a double hander and hope to land a steelhead this seaon on it. I enjoy tying all my own flies and find spey patterns quite a challenge. This site looks very intresting and can only help the sport. cheers for now.
