I fit hearing aids for a living. I fish every chance I get. That includes multiple species on spinning gear, center pin, and of course the fly rod. My favorite species to go after is steelhead.

We have a cabin in the UP that I enjoy going to as much as I possibly can. We snowmobile there in the winter time along with some fishing where the water is open.

I've only been fly fishing for a couple years as of now (2012). I really enjoy that but I shall not become married to the fly rod. I just don't think it's as productive as other ways for differnent species. Especially steelhead. Maybe it will be when I get better at casting!
