Hi guys, WOW! Just checked the mail when i got home and recieved an awesome set of caddis flies!! These will diffenantly come in handy on my trip to Montana this month! Thank you to all, these are some great lookin caddis. This was my first swap and it was a great experience. great tie Ben and also great step by step ! Looks like a fun one ! Will tie some up for my trip in Aug. Ever hiked and fished the lakes on the Ressuection Trail, Trout lake, Juneau lake, Swan lake? Did a solo trip a few years back up there, each lake has a forest cabin and row boat!! Incredible area, I. then hiked out on Devils creek... Thanks for the new recipe Ben

Hi robow, i lived in Boulder for 12 years and fished the 'Poudre' when i could. You should do well with some ants, flying ants, hoppers, caddis and diving caddis patterns also produced for us. stimilater for a strike indicator with a dropper usually does the trick too. Have fun :thumbsup:

I too like to read, all sorts. Wierd or not , i love to "read" maps, new and old. I used to work at an antique map gallery in Boulder, Co. and would do all the custom picture framing. We'd frame 100 year, 200 year 300year old maps that had some amazing detailing and were incredibly accurate! I have a couple of 'DRIANAGE' maps from the US GOELOGICAL and GEOGRAFICAL SURVEYS by F.V. Hayden from 1887 and 1889. One of the state of Colorado and the other of 'portions' of Wyoming, Idaho and Utah. Both are fun to look at! The Forest Service maps a great to to find those high mountain lakes and streams!

Really like the use of the 'red', great job. Think ill tie some up for Montanas cutthroat!
