Big Daddy... found a couple things that came in really handy!! But you should have saw me trying to find my Fly tying material to add to the box.. Had everything packed up and being my un-organized self did not label boxs!! So everything was opened again.. as it is never in the one you think it would be in..Will send you a PM and update my new address....

Pat.. don't know how everyone else feels but have you thought about holding up the next round till after the holidays?? Seems like this time of year is when most packages i have lost this is when it happens..not only that but the hustle and bustle of the season things tend to get put on back burner and forgotten about for a spell... Just a idea.. don't know how everyone else feels....

I received the box this week Big Daddy.. got it 2 days before our big move! It will be going out again this morning to a place that only i know...It was a surprise!! That is for sure....

Received the box this morning and am happy to report that first thing Monday morning it will be on it's way to Michigan...

Big Daddy Hub... Yes they are from this year.. But they are from Bradford county up near New York State border.. i live in York which is closer to the Maryland border..I have a cabin up there and this time of year spend quite a bit of time there.. Pat..Have you ever heard of a Fly called a Honey Bug?? They are true killers on Brookies and Browns around here and are very simple to tie!! They were first tied by Paul Berger and are made of a special Chenille.. If you haven't i will tie and bunch up and put into the box.. simple tie but soooo effective!!

Actually Flytying i was using my Floozy's...they are a bit more erotic!!

Weather is still nice here Pat.. we are getting those nice crisp days and cool, nights..I have included a couple pictures to see if i could make you home sick a bit!!

I guess you noticed that i changed from a Comet.. The fly i sent is called a Orange Floozy and it accounted for 95 % of all the fish i caught last 5 days.. so i know it works!!

TICK..TOCK...TICK..TOCK...Cencalfly you are getting very sleepy..send Will all your steelhead flies...TIC..Tock.... Actually i hope not.. cause as of right now my arms are very sore!! Must have hooked 400-500 Salmon in past few days and they are just plain crazy!! Been a long time since i have fought fish with so much spunk!! Don't know why but first couple days up here and was up way before the Sun.. now it's like ok let's let the sun come up and maybe we will hit it at noon!! Am glad to hear the box is moving right along!!

Big daddy i was only picking on you!! No fly is going to hold to to those fish.. i probably caught 12-13 on it before it was destroyed..They really liked the baby Trout one.. i had thought they would!! So i tied a few more of them up also..They were like freight trains this morning!! All of them were Dime bright and full of fight!! It was one of those mornings that you are glad to be alive!! 3 of us all got our limit today and lost a whole lot more..If you wanna come up sometime let me know.. I know you would love fishing for Steelhead.. Heck you might even decide that snow storms ARE worth it!! Oh.. the hooks were the Blue steel ones.. held up very well even to the big Chinooks!!

Taylor if there is any way to go up now...DO IT>>> the River is on fire!! Last couple days have been hot..hot..hot!! This morning started catching Ho's and Big Nookie's with a smattering of nice Browns thrown in.. Caught 2 browns that i know where in the 10 pound range easy.. Next 3-4 weeks should be really good.. then the Steel start to come and that is what i live for!!

We slammed Ho's..Nookies and HUGE Browns today.. had i bet at least 50-75 hookups on freight trains heading north!! There are fish every where in the River!! 3-4 weeks of this then the Steel start coming... and that is what i live for!!!! Pat weather has been fickle to say the least.. couple 40 degree nights and 50 degree days but now is back into 80's again with humidity.. but it won't be long and that cooler weather will be here to stay for a few months!!

Not going to be able to get them mailed now till most likely Monday afternoon.. Left yesterday for the Salmon River in New York State and i wanna tell you .. it's on like Donkey Kong!! Hammered Ho's..nookies and HUGE browns today!! My arms actually hurt..I will bet with no exaggeration at all i had at least 50-75 hook ups today!!

I am not sure but almost positive that my flies are going to be late..being that today is the due date.... asked for address a week ago and still haven't received it as of yet!! If any one has it please send it so i can get these flies mailed out!!

For Chinooks you would be hard pressed to find a fly any better then a Bright Green Comet.. Tied on a Number 4 or 6 hook.. look for pockets in riffles where fish are moving up thru.. they will be the most aggressive fish.. stay away from crowds if at all possible as those fish are spooked and you would hard pressed to get them to hit..another fly i like a great deal is a woolybugger tied in black and chartreuse.. those 2 flys are what i catch 90% of all my Salmon on.. If there is a specific question you have please by all means get in touch.. i have been fishing up there for over 30 years now...

Flyfisher.. Glad to hear things are going well.. enjoy the young one now as it seems like time flies by and the next thing you know they will be all grown up.. My youngest is now 34 years old and i feel like 112!! Please tell Big Daddy i plan on joining the material swap for a couple go rounds.. found some things the other day that people might be interested in.. Will get them mailed out to him first thing in the morning....
