  2. Thanks Murray. I learned that lesson with my bicycles. I guess I did save there as becoming a certified bicycle mechanic did eliminate the costs of labor to get my rides fixed but then I just spent it on nice components. I'm sure fly tying will be a in the same vein. Not a problem though. I pretty much want to learn to tie mainly for the enjoyment of doing it.
  3. Hello. My name is Dusty. For my 50th birthday my daughter got me a fly rod/reel kit to try fly fishing and I'm "hooked." Now I am getting interested in learning to tie flies for myself. I live in the middle, southern part of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. So far I've only gone fishing for panfish and bass with my rig but they have been a lot of fun to catch. I am looking forward to many years of enjoyment fly fishing.
