  1. My wife gave me one of her Dritz cutting mats to use under the foam when using the cutters....worked much better than previous set-up. Nice poppers Philly!
  2. Shaped a pencil popper and slanted faced mini from yesterday's blanks. Hook Size: 8 ( 423R 3XL) & 10 (CK52S)
  3. Very nice ones as usual Denduke, I will have to try your variation Dairydave. I picked up a set of cutters yesterday and cut out a few popper blanks. I used 3/8 to 1-1/4 in thick foam and a couple of wine corks. Set up: a board is placed on top of the drill press table with a sacrificial piece of foam on top of that to keep the cutters sharp. Thicker foam requires lubricant (oil) because the foam sticks to the inside of the cutters and gets chewed up with the cutter. A little oil and a vise is needed to hold the wine corks.
  4. Just saw this Hollow punch set for use with a power drill or drill press from Harbor Freight $8.99. Depth of cut 2-3/4 in. Sizes: 3/16 in, 1/4 in, 5/16 in, 3/8 in, 7/16 in & 1/2 in. I will be getting a set. https://www.harborfreight.com/6-piece-hollow-punch-set-67030.html
  5. That set looks like the ticket and good price thanks for posting. Do you know if they are sharp enough to use in a drill to cut 1"thick foam?
  6. No problem...I would be interested in seeing your finished popper. These guys have larger dia cutters (1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, 5/8″, 3/4″ and 1″ in diameter). https://www.sleazysteves.com/products/brass-cutters/
