  1. Finished up my flies tonight. I ended up tying an #18 Olive Double Midge. I'll try and get them in the mail tomorrow! Tom

  5. Ok, looks like you need one more so I'll get in on this one. This will be a change from tying the big salmon flies for the upcoming GL Fall Salmon Run. Pattern TBD Tom
  6. Here is the material bag that I purchased for my Peak Vise: I picked this up at the Hook and Hackle website for under $10 with internet discount. It is not the most elegant looking (and is cheaply made) but it works fine for me. If I had one gripe, I would say that to remove it from the vice, you have to loosen the set-screw in the vise base and remove the vice rod. A clamp on feature would be much nicer. Tom

  8. Update for the group: I have 4 more flies to tie and they will be done. I actually live near Geo so I'll hand deliver them before the 15th... The flies Geo has been posting so far look really good! Looks like it's going to be a great swap! Tom

  13. You're welcome fly time. This was the first time I tried tying up some furled leaders with mono. I have tied them with 6/0 thread in the past and they work well. Take care, Tom
