  1. A number of years ago I found an old thompson B type cast iron tying vise at a yard sale for 2 bucks, I have an HMH and a couple

    of other "good" vises but 90% of all my flies get tied on that dinosour, it holds as good or better than my HMH, it doesn't have the height adjustment like my other vises have so i built my tying area to fit the old one, I came out pretty good under 50,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,B,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    fl. green rabbit for tail

    Fl. green floss and fl. green ice chinelle for body

    black bead chain for eyes

    dark green film? for head

    a little different, but simple to tie and I have caught a boat load of bream on these little things, hope ya'll like them . PS i have not tied in about 1/2 a year i am a little out of practice and crowded the eyes a little! :rolleyes: be kind hahaha


  3. I am a welder by trade so I like to build stuff out of both metal and wood, I make my own bows and arrows,knives stuff like that. I can't sit still so i'm always fiddling with something,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,B,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

BB, My flies will be there we got whacked if that is even the word for it by an Ice storm, so I am kinda behind i'll try to mail them later this week,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,B,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, STILL NO ELECTRIC AFTER 5days, my flayscreen took a power overload and fried ,don't know yet if sat bit the dust. At least we got a good sized camping trailer

    and fridge runs off propane, probably wont be back online for a few days, :headbang: :headbang:
