thanks everyone. So..... I tied the big black and red one on and fished for about an hour today after work. Conditions were not ideal, it was pretty windy blowing at my casting shoulder most of the time and making the water kinda choppy, but I got three hits, missed them all but was probably my error... anyway it surprisingly floated pretty nice and had a decent action. Going to try the others tomorrow morning. and they are indeed #4 hooks/bodies, I had no idea what I was looking for when buying the hooks except that I wanted to tie poppers. I grabbed a bag of #4 "popper" hooks...next time ill look for a hook with a longer shank. -Rob

Hey everyone, I'm new here, and new to fly fishing/tying...These are my first flies ever, so be gentle when critiquing, but any input is greatly appreciated. The green and black one will hopefully be a little smaller then the rest, with black hackle and chartreuse marabou -Rob
