  1. Oh Oh, must not think too much about this one or... what the heck, it may be one of the best, of those that I recall ... and.... stopping now before I ask for quote$...
  2. Amen, dude, and it doesnโ€™t matter if I agree or disagree with the political sentiments expressed. I donโ€™t even like yard signs in my own yard....
  3. I am staying away from this thread for a few days... impulse control is bad, Sandan just proved I need some upgrades for dries, that is a Nice bird!
  4. Welcome to the forum, it wonโ€™t be long for help to arrive..
  5. Warning, they can be addictive.... but I will look forward to results... no hurry... but we only have 24 days left on this thread๐Ÿ˜
  6. Yes, it is the black tips that make the distinction, there is wide variation in orange shades on each of my birds. Good catch as usual...
  7. Downside of being more artist than scientist in these endeavors. Will predict here that you will shake the โ€œblockโ€ soon.
  8. Patt, Chug, and Mogup just made my day, after crazy life in our little world. I prescribe more vise therapy for myself next two days.. and some ๐ŸบWith these and TSMcDougalโ€™s evil twinning I have inspiration overload.. Thanks flymen! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽฃ๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž
  9. If I am working a DIY project such a this, I generally look at existing commercial products, look for features I like (good) or do not (bad) like. Build and a adapt based good features and try to avoid bad. There is a plethora of commercial ice tip ups for sale online and at least two videos on DIY builds. When you see what is out there you will begin to see how you can adapt something to fit with the resources available to you. Good luck and keep us in the loop. The first thing you may find is that you may have to improvise some way to emulate a hole in the ice and a fish pulling on the rig.... But the One thing to always remember on these is to have FUN. You will learn new and more STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) principles applying things your teachers want you to know. Teachers can be a good resource, too Now get that school work done!
  10. Got mine today, after studying each, WoW, every one was first rate quality, and fish magnets. You can tell at a glance they are Favorites! ps In a few days I would be willing to put up some pictures of all, but my own. But that will be the Switch Meisterโ€™s call! Thanks friends! need about 15 of these but 1 must suffice๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽฃ๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž
  11. Bingo. And, I donโ€™t like many videos but I like these, too. Flagler, McFlylures, and a few others.... Very few others, for most of the reasons pd states!
  12. Squirmies have a strong following here, thanks for posting
  13. Yes, it is - the art is picking and milling the lumber And, hope we get to see the knife
  14. Sandan took those words right out my mouth๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽฃ๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž
  15. You are a thoughtful guy, and next exchange where box is part of quid pro quo I will do one of my Beetle Killed Pine boxes and hope for 1 this nice.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž
  16. Thought you might go heavy for the larger fish. With relatively large amount of hackle and dubbing per Franโ€™s style, flotation is likely non factor on heavy wire. How was my guess on hook size?
  17. Then the time code idea is win-win, not many video producers offer such convenience, one more thing to separate your work from the herd๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž
  18. That should increase repeat views, not sure if multiples from same subscribers help with your You Tube compensation, I know nothing about that aspect, but it should...
  19. Razored that one out nicely, like the vise and beer, too. Bottoms up!
  20. My standard question on this. What hook size? Guessing it is a#12,1xheavy. But I always want to know what the chassis is, for an index build.
  21. Itโ€™s very good.... 38 seconds clearly demonstrating the build... Tim Flagler, watch over your shoulder...this guy is going to be catching up... Fast
