  1. thanks everyone, i was actually proud of my first attempt. hoping to be able to fish with my own flys
  2. it was suppose to be a Light Hendrickson but my colors were limited at the time so i improvised, and that whip stitch kicked my butt, thats goin to take a ton of practice
  3. i was very careful about that and was toward the eye both times it happened, im thinkin the spool is to tight in the bobbin and thread is stretching to much, but im guessing here
  4. first question, when im wrappin i have eye of hook facing to the right due to the fact im right handed, which way am i suppose to be wrapping thread , clockwise or counter clockwise. 2nd question, im fraying the thread and it breaks, WHY? thanks. this is my very first attempt
