  1. Here's a caddis pattern thats popular in Scandinavia whenever there are caddis flies on the water. My variant utilizes the barbules on the CdC feather to give some extra spice to the fly. I have fished this pattern for a couple of seasons, and its becoming one of my favorite caddis patterns. 3. Just posted a suggestion on how to make the DHE wing a bit more robust and improve the floating capabilities. This is however how I tie the Comparadun-style wing in general, but also well suited to the wing on this fabulous merger. Anyone using this technique? 5. Here's a efficient little emerger that works wonders when there is a heavy E.Ignita hatch, and you need a fly that stands out from the crowd. Tight lines Kjell www.rakkenes.com
