  1. Love the video, awesome job! For me, the most precious moments spent fishing are those short, unplanned, stolen moments and trips. Merry Christmas everyone! http://bit.ly/1H0dJeT
  2. Thank you Jolly Red! I will certainly do that. I first need to talk to our national postal service officers. I would hate it if the flies get lost in the mail. Personally, I would go with FedEx, but their international fees are so high, so this rules them out automatically. Enjoy the holidays everyone!
  3. Hi guys! First of all, let me ask you how does one become a member of this Swap Club? I mean, I live in Europe, so this automatically disqualifies me from any club eligibility, right? Second of all, let me say bravo and cudos to the one who started the club. I can feel a bit of jealousy eating my precious heart. Happy holidays everyone!
  4. It's not unusual! In fact, I have witnessed this kind of behavior many times before. And I hate it when other, more experienced anglers tell me that my baits are either too perfect, or not realistic at all. I think that fish sometimes are too lazy to eat, or don't feel like it!
  5. Hi Carson. Personally, I am an addict of this blog that tackles topics related to Slovenian fly fishing adventures. I love reading about certain fishing destinations, fish species and most of all I love reading about fishing tips and tricks. hope this helps. Check out the blog here http://www.govic.si/en/Blog.aspx
  6. Umpqua Feather Merchants will no longer be distributing the Tiemco 16/0 thread... For real? Why is this? I think that this Danish Veevus Thread 16/0 would be a great replacement for the Tiemco, unless you can find it via the good old eBay! Cheers mate! http://www.govic.si/en/Blog.aspx
  7. The Echo Ion I have uses a simple, un-sealed disc drag and this reel works really effectively. If the case is such that you own a heavier or a longer spay rod, then I recommend purchasing an additional brass drag knob, as this is the best way to balance your outfit. The reel cost me around 100 dollars. http://www.govic.si/en/Blog/TabId/147/ArtMID/522/ArticleID/16/5-Stealth-Fly-Fishing-Tactics-That-Reel-In-More-Fish.aspx
