This is majestic.

I accidentally made my own running some burlap runners through the washer and dryer. The lint basket afterward was a gold mine.

I had the same problem with Wapsi head cement, I think it was not mixed well or something. It was enough of an experience to never buy it again. I started using Loons and it seems to be a lot better.

Yeah, I definitely appreciated the proof. Gives me a reason actually tie more of them!

I place my used flies in another spot other than the box so that will be in my favor. I'll have to look into those, thanks man!

I would like a fly box that is actually waterproof. Sometimes I'm wading in water that is chin deep and it never fails that my so-called waterproof boxes are soaked inside when I get home and at times ruins some flies. Anyone know of any good boxes out there?

Made a fly out of Christmas tinsel for my buddy in CO. I told him to send me a picture if he actually catches anything with it.

Whatever you do, don't use your fly scissors. I found that out the hard way, it completely ruined mine.

Popper Bodies VS Hook Size..Opinions.?
JustSomeGuy83 replied to Mike West's topic in The Fly Tying Bench
Not to stray away from the OP and hijack the thread but, a side question on poppers - when do y'all add the legs? I've done it first and it is a pain to work around. Doing them near the end seems like they won't be as stable on the shank. Input? -
What is that black head cement you use?

Perfection loop on the tippet to the shorb loop on my fly leader, fly leader shorb on the other end to the fly line. Everyone is shaking hands. I make pre-completed tippet ends out of regular fly line and keep those in stock and ready to replace the short or damaged tippets.

Depending on your setup, you some may be able to use an ice cube tray.

Before I knew any better, I did purchase some salt water popper heads. I used some intelligence and cut those guys in thirds but still, free is always better for me. Wine corks can be shaped the way you want them.

Thanks for the tips y'all.
