. Dave you will do well with this pattern. I have been using it for a long time always catch fish. Don't be afraid to play with colors and different tail materials. Nice job on the fly!

Always used cheap sheet metal screws. Klud Kutter studs don't cost anymore. 250/20$ on eBay and Amazon guess I be buying a life time supply.

I also use self taping hex with a little shoe goo. Cost a few $. They definently help

So I do things a little differently I finish at the head with a whip then go back to post and type in 14/0 and glue. Wrap hackle tye off with 2 wraps and 3 whips at post. I also color thread with marker before the whip to match body. Doing it this way I find I can hide tye off the best
