Mole can be purchased many places. I carry it from both Cookshill (natural) and Veniards, (both natural and 8 dyed colors) However, I'd suggest buying from the sponser of this site simply because it's the right thing to do if they have what you need. Cheers, Mike -
Lefty Kreh reported at a club meeting last month that 82 Fly Shops in the Mid-Atlantic region have closed thier doors in the last 3 years.

I assume you mean Spring Creek near State College in Centre Co.? If so the stretch between bellefonte and the mouth of the stream where it empties into Bald Eagle Creek is quite good this time of year. trico's in the morning, ants, beetles et al during the afternoon, and if the weather is wet you may (don't count on it though) see a fishable BWO hatch. I can also assure you that nymphs (scuds, pt's, copper john's, Walts worm....in sizes 16 and smaller) will also provide good action. Regards, Mike

A 12 inch fall (or less) onto grass? Seems impossible. The good news is, that Orvis will replace it. I know you think it's garbage...but a lifetime warrantee on a reel that sells for less then $90.00 has to be worth something. 12 inches onto grass huh, wow you did get a bad one. Regards, Mike

Just discovered this site about a week ago and have been too busy reading it to say hello......trying to fix that now. I love the site...best I've seen in years, some great info and tiers and I'm looking forward to becoming part of the community. I'm a flyfisher of 40 years and a fly dresser of almost as long...though the salmon tiers I see here have ignited a spark that I've held back on a long time...here comes another rookie full dress tier...excuse me...I think UPS is at the door for the third time today Regards, mike
