We finished 4th overall. What a fun tournament. Absolutely awesome. My partner won the top rod award too for having the most inches of fish as an individual and won a brand new orvis helios. talk about a prize. Other than that, completely fun and I never lost my flies.

Thanks. This is going to be a blast. Where can I find a pattern for those? The BHP that I have been working on is a little variation. Different colored wires and soft hackle behind the bead. Testing everything but just haven't found the perfect fly yet. I am trying to incorporate subtle movement in it, hence the soft hackle. Not into the rubber leg thing though. The thing that makes it really tricky is the area we will be fishing is mainly private. Can't go out there and pre-fish. Still hitting different areas of the Gunnison though.

I am pretty excited. Myself and a good friend of mine have entered the Superfly tournament this year. http://www.gunnisontu.org/superfly/index.htm It's going to be an awesome time and we are really looking forward to it. My current flies that I am thinking on are a #12 BH Prince and a #16 BH Prince. Can't think of the other heat yet but I am thinking that the BHP are tried and true. Any ideas?

Sounds like a plan. I will get all the flies out by tomorrow morning. Sorry I haven't been keeping up on this as much as I would like too. I have been pretty busy getting ready for the Superfly 2008 tournament. http://www.gunnisontu.org/superfly/index.htm I have been trying to find the ultimate fly and getting some serious nymphing practice in. It's only a month away and my partner and I hoping to do really well there.

I'm ok with this Ron. I just need to see what's up with Professori. I sent him a PM but he hasn't responded yet.

That's awesome. If you decide to head over to Western Colorado, let me know. I got a couple of spots that are pretty fun.

Professori, I received yours...................kind of. I have your envelope inside of another envelope. There is a rip in the front of your envelope where I am assuming your flies came out of it. The USPS then wrapped it inside of another envelope and delivered that to me. All I have inside of your envelope is the IRC and your return envelope. Here is the message that was on the USPS envelope. Dear Valued Postal Customer: I want to extend my sincere apology as your Postmaster for the enclosed document that was inadvertently damaged in handling by your Postal Service. We are aware how important your mail is to you. With that in mind, we are forwarding it to you in an expeditious fashion. The US Postal Service handles over 202 billion pieces of mail each year. While each employee makes a concerted effort to process, without damage, each piece of mail, an occasional mishap does happen. We are constantly working to improve our processing methods so that these incidents will be eliminated. You can help us greatly in our efforts if you will continue to properly prepare and address each letter or parcel that you enter into the mailstream. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding and sincerely regret any inconvenience that you have experienced. Your Postmaster Not sure what to do here Professori.
