  1. Bryon, I just looked at that boat on line and I think you are right, it's pretty amazing. I'm not sure if it fits the OPs needs but only he can answer that question. It's a pretty cool boat. Thanks for telling me about it.
  2. Thanks Bryon, That sounds pretty good. I will need to look into these the next time I feel like I need another boat. Thank you very much.
  3. When I read the title I thought it was going to be a rant about inconsiderate people. (again) Glad it wasn't that. This looks like a lot more fun.
  4. You might PM some of the guys that post in the thread I gave above to get the information you seek.
  5. A guy asks about a hook and you give him the finger. 😁
  6. What do you think Norm, want to sell him some? We'll leave this here for just a little while so people get a chance to see it and then we'll move it to the "Buy, sell, trade" area. Norm (flytire) makes classic salmon and steel head flies and for a while (I think) he was selling them, but those are a little different than the classic Atlantic Salmon Flies from the Old Country. You can see some of them here. http://www.flytyingforum.com/index.php?/forum/94-artistic-classic-salmon-flies/
  7. The more vises the better, I always say. Better vises than vices. My wife too, it's a good thing or I'd sure miss her. 😁 Ah oh here she comes, gotta go.
  8. You know, you don't have to replace one with the other. They let you have as many as you want. You can use both of them.
  9. That's cuz you wouldn't know a good feather if someone tickled your foot with it. Ha ha ha.😋 Of course I tease you. That's one of the things I love about fly tying. There's so many directions you can go in. I'm fortunate, I get to use the best of both worlds.
  10. You are right, but it makes a point.
  11. I love this picture. He's an amazing bird.
  12. Premium roosters. Same bird, just better ones.
  13. I do have some pre-cut wings out of some kind of material like that. I have used them some but I can't tell you what they are. There is no label. Lately I've been cutting my own out of teal flank feathers. All good stuff though. Nice fly DR.
  14. You don't have to be sorry. We're all buds here.
  15. No he didn't, he was referring to what I said just before you clicked. Read UP ⬆️ Do some school work. 😁 Any more silvers in the river yet?
  16. Care to elaborate on what you meant by "I've always wanted to trap a hair" then.
  17. TIER has some videos about that. 😁
  18. You talked me into it, but I forgot my Amazon pass word, I'll get my wife to do it when she gets off the phone (she knows all the passwords). She's arguing with the post office about insurance on a carving that got wrecked twice in shipping. This could take a while.
  19. I'd love to hear what you have to say.
  20. Never seen one before either. Looks like it would be great long handled hackle pliers. Might be worth a try for five bucks. Sometimes my long handle pliers are cumbersome on a small fly. I'm probably not going to order one but if I saw one at my local store, I'd throw it in the shopping basket.
